The BME Competence Map is a new publicly available university competence map, which provides information in English about the results and research directions of researchers and research groups of the technical university. On the competence map, several categories and keywords help easy searchability for Hungarian and foreign university and industrial partners alike.
The competency map is operated by FIEK and continuously helps to increase the visibility of the site and to connect with interested partners
Horizon Europe is the European Commission's ambitious and highest-budgeted framework programme (95.5 billion Euro) to support Research and Innovation in Europe. Launched in May 2021, the Framework Programme will launch thousands of calls to support individual and syndicated research and innovation projects over 7 years, between 2021 and 2027.
The aim of the project is to establish a Competence Centre for Industrial Safety Engineering, which will provide added market value for companies while guaranteeing the safety of industrial processes. Accordingly, the subject of the project is the development of new methods that increase efficiency and safety in the main industrial applications (oil and gas industry, vehicle and road safety, as well as construction technologies) and the provision of an appropriate IT platform.
A BME Felsőoktatási Innovációmenedzsment és Együttműködési Központ szervezeti egységeként működő ZKK célja, hogy különböző tudományterületek együttműködését ösztönző tudásközpontként hozzájáruljon Magyarország törvényben is rögzített, 2050-es klímasemlegességi célkitűzésének eléréséhez.
As deputy director of the BME FIEK organization, I assist the director in coordinating, controlling and monitoring the implementation of operational tasks. I organize and coordinate contacts with industrial partners, develop new partnerships, help raise funds.
My task is to coordinate and coordinate the domestic and EU projects managed by the BME FIEK organization, and as project manager of the Competence Center (KK) project, I facilitate the successful implementation of the KK tender. I strengthen the operational operation of the FIEK organization and the comprehensive, service-providing role of the university between faculties with my activities.
Since January 1, 2022, I have been leading the Center for Higher Education and Industrial Cooperation at BME. I have been connected to the Technical University for 25 years, before my appointment as director I was deputy dean of economics at the Faculty of Civil Engineering of BME, and I am currently teaching at the Department of Bridges and Structures. The task of FIEK is to unite the innovation activities of BME and to provide cross-faculty services to the university as a whole. As a leader, my goal is to strengthen this service attitude in many areas: technology and knowledge transfer, patent administration, spin-off foundation, providing incubation and accelerator programs for students, helping Horizon applications, managing large domestic tenders, supporting the development of the green economy, and supporting professional work in FIEK labs.
As the head of the Zero Carbon Center, ZKK aims to contribute to the achievement of its statutory 2050 climate neutrality objective as a knowledge centre encouraging cooperation between different disciplines, as Hungary. Along these lines, in addition to leading the professional work of ZKK, the development of cooperations supporting ZKK's mission is also a priority task:
developing live inter-university collaborations.
By strengthening the BRIDGE team, I support the development and marketization of innovative ideas into market products. I promote the goal of technology transfer in the university and its integration into the university innovation ecosystem.
My tasks at the Zero Carbon Center in the field of decarbonisation of the electricity sector are organizing forums, writing professional studies and Policy Papers, preparing tender documents, maintaining contact with ZKK's external partners, and updating the content of the ZKK website.
I am part of the BME Horizon Europe team, assisting in research support services at the Budapest University of Technology and Economics. I am an undergraduate student in the faculty of Civil Engineering. My research interest is in the field of construction technologies and Building materials.
As the marketing manager of the FIEK team, I support and help the visibility and communication of the activities of the areas operating in the organization. In the course of my work, event management, PR and branding play an important role.
I believe that with the projects managed in FIEK, together with our partners and colleagues, we work in the present, but already building the future, about which we need to constantly communicate to the public.
Feladatom a BME FIEK szervezetben az ügyviteli, adminisztrációs és általános irodai feladatok mellett a szakterületen dolgozó vezetők, ügyvivő szakértők és projektasszisztensek munkájának támogatása.
As a project and innovation manager, my task is to manage and grant the university's cross-faculty projects. In addition, I perform the operations management of our department and the secretarial duties of the Innovation Council.
My main task is to update the university's capacity and competence and infrastructure database and matchmaking the requests received based on these.
In the FIEK organization, I perform the tasks of managing the projects of the National Laboratory, i.e. I am responsible for supporting the administrative, – financial, – procurement, – labor processes.
As an economist, I gained experience in 2008 at a Hungarian group of companies building electricity grids and solar parks, as well as implementing energy efficiency projects. My main responsibilities included corporate and project finance, as well as the management of controlling and finance. I have always been interested in topics related to the future of the energy industry and sustainability, so in 2016 I completed the second degree in energy management at Corvinus University. I worked in the Decarbonisation Department of ITM as an energy efficiency officer.
After that, I joined the Zero Carbon Center, where I mainly deal with energy efficiency topics.
A Kompetencia Központ projektben elsősorban a pályázat szakmai anyagainak elkészítése, rendszerezése a feladatom, továbbá a pályázathoz kapcsolódó egyéb adminisztratív feladatokat támogatom.
A FIEK-nél az elsődleges feladatom a digitális marketing stratégiák kidolgozása és végrehajtása. Ez magában foglalja az online jelenlét és a webes tartalmak optimalizálását, a közösségi média kezelését és a digitális hirdetési kampányok tervezését és végrehajtását is. Fontosnak tartom a kreativitást és az innovációt, ezért mindig törekszem a legjobb eredmények elérésére.
A BME FIEK szervezeti egységénél évek óta foglalkozom hazai és EU-s pályázati projektek elszámolásának összeállításával a projektanyagok teljeskörű adminisztrációjával, szerződések előkészítésével és utókövetésével, valamint a projektek teljeskörű pénzügyi menedzselésével.
