In the spirit of sustainability: BME Climate Thursday and Solar Butterfly presentation on September 9, in Building K!

Date

Recent events have shown that climate awareness is inevitable for our sustainable future. BME recognized that in addition to its teaching and research activities, it can also set an example to follow in the fight against climate change through its own operations. As a confirmation of this, our own university climate strategy is being prepared, which includes the BME Climate Strategy Concept. In connection with the topics of the strategy, a university consultation was also carried out, at which our teachers and students could express their opinions and suggestions.

Come to the Ceremonial Hall of Building K on September 9th and learn about the university's response to the challenges ahead! Register now!

Have you ever heard of Solar Butterfly? After the performance, we invite you to a unique demonstration at the main entrance of Building K, where the Solar Butterfly, the first caravan towed by an electric car, equipped with solar panels and powered by 100% renewable energy, will blow its sun-infused wings. The mission of the inventor of the project, the Hungarian-born Louis Palmer, is nothing less than to walk around the earth with the butterfly rolling with Tesla and prove that there are indeed alternative solutions that exist that can effectively work for a sustainable future, for the integrity of planet Earth.
